Plot
A modern-day story of fortune set in the world of West Texas oil rigs
See the top movies and TV shows by writer/director Taylor Sheridan on IMDb, ranked by user ratings. A landman, at least one of whom works in the oil industry, explores acting as a go-between for companies and landowners. Typically, a landowner’s job is to negotiate and finalize agreements with landowners who own mineral rights to lease those rights to the company they represent, essentially managing and leasing the land so they can drill for oil and gas. Like a foreman, they build roads, house workers (human camps), set up drilling equipment, and supervise the drilling of wells, especially in remote locations.
They are well-written and entertaining
They are also part fixer, part problem solver, and part facilitator.. as mentioned on CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode #44.24 (2022). Obviously, I love Taylor Sheridan’s shows. I’d love to watch anything he does right now.
That’s extremely generous
But what about the girl in her underwear and having sex with her? It’s so weird how uncomfortable she is with it. It’s almost too uncomfortable to watch. I’m invested in the story so far.
Billy loves Bob
I also don’t understand why the woman doesn’t like it so much. The ex-wife is simple. It’s really a head scratcher. Is the show just about drawing people?
