Porky Pig and Daffy Duck are Earth’s only hope in the face of an alien invasion threat. The first Looney Tunes film released in theaters that was not distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. The film was originally intended to be an exclusive streaming release on the streaming service Max. After the company dropped it, the film was sent to other distributors, and GFM Animation eventually acquired the worldwide distribution rights and changed the film to a theatrical release. Inside the meteorite, as Daffy demonstrates his talent with levers, he pulls the lever to lower the machine and pushes it to rise again. Porky does the same later in the scene. But with Porky and Petunia strapped in, Daffy pushes the lever forward and the machine continues to lower them. At the end of the credits, Porky Pig makes his classic statement, „That’s it, people!“ only to be interrupted by Daffy Duck, who tells him that this is not the end of the movie and that a sequel is needed. Full Title: An Honest Review of The Day the Earth Broke Up: A Looney Tunes Movie, the First Ever Warner Bros. 2D Animated Looney Tunes Movie From a Non-Looney Tunes Fan. Well… Warner Bros. decides not to make a stupid decision this time, instead of shelving or canceling their first Looney Tunes animated movie, they are releasing their animated movie on the big screen… It’s surprising to be completely honest. Okay, so I watched this movie yesterday along with Joker 2 Folie a Deux (which I’ll talk about in another post) and I have a few thoughts on it. Before I start the review, a few things first: For those who don’t know, I am not a fan of the Looney Tunes series, never have been and never will be. I have never been a fan of Looney Tunes my entire life because most of the characters are annoying and unfunny (especially the popular ones) and their humor is lazy, uncreative, repetitive and most of the time pure embarrassment, I have very rarely found a short film from the Looney Tunes library that I liked and that made me laugh, I consider the Looney Tunes cartoons to be the most overrated cartoons ever that do not deserve their popularity and I hate the Looney Tunes community/fans and cartoons that overly praise these cartoons when there are plenty of other cartoons that deserve it and get offended when someone hates and criticizes Looney Tunes for valid reasons, which leads to a huge prejudice and double standards. So yeah, don’t act surprised when I argue with you if you’re going to be an ass to me, telling me I don’t have a childhood and/or good taste in humor just because I dare to dislike a popular cartoon that I found to be very overrated and not funny. However, considering that this is the first animated Looney Tunes movie from Warner Bros. to hit the big screen (very depressing and confusing that Looney Tunes hasn’t had an animated movie in theaters for over a century, like what Warner Bros. has done in the past?), I’m willing to give it a chance. I’ll talk about the pros and cons of this movie. Also, this is a spoiler-free review, so I won’t give away the main events in this movie. So… what do I think about this movie?….it’s okay….it’s certainly not the best Looney Tunes movie, but definitely not the worst I’ve seen. Let’s start with the positives, the pros. Voice Acting: The thing that Looney Tunes is mostly consistent in is the voice acting, all the voice actors/actresses were spot on and captured the tone of the characters emotions, Eric Bauza is perfect as Daffy and captures the tone of the character’s insanity.
