After the encounter with the Orcs, an animation of Helm’s hair appears behind his ear
Plot
A sudden attack by the cunning and treacherous Wolf of Rohan, to avenge his father’s death, forces Rohan’s King Helm Hammerhand and his men to make a brave last stand at the ancient fortress of Hornburg. The film stars Miranda Otto as Éowyn, reprising her role from Sir Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings series. The Warner Brothers Animation logo appears briefly with Japanese kanji, in homage to the film’s animation style. .
Sony’s Concord fails!
Featured in YellowFlash 2: FlashCast: Wukong monkey man SALT! Star Wars The Acolyte cancellation CHAOS! (2024) I love The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by Peter Jackson and it’s one of my favorite movie trilogies. The Hobbit trilogy was great, but it was a mess towards the end.
#39;s always fun with any movie franchise
Now, we have this new animated film set in Middle-earth and it’s great. Positives for The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim (2024): It was nice to return to Middle-earth with another theatrical release. The animation in the film looks amazing and the fact that this was made for $30 million shows that you can accomplish a lot with a small budget. The voice performances from Brian Cox, Gaia Wise, Luke Pasqualino, and Miranda Otto are all excellent.
The film paced its 2-hour runtime very well
It was nice to hear Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan, and Christopher Lee (RIP) here too, and it brought a smile to my face. Finally, there are some great action sequences throughout the film. The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim (2024): The film lacks the epic atmosphere of Peter Jackson’s original trilogy, which is always going to be a tough one for anyone to get into. Despite the actors‘ excellent voice acting, the characters aren’t as good as the original trilogy.
Finally, I’d be a little disappointed if this film bombs, because with a budget of $30 million, it should have been a success at the box office
Overall, The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim (2024) is a great anime film set in the world of Middle-earth, and while it may not be as good as Peter Jackson’s trilogy, I still recommend this film to fans of the Middle-earth films.
